Ironman 70.3 World Champion Andy Potts Signs with TYR Sport

2-time USAT Elite Triathlete of the Year Andy Potts has signed a multi-year contract agreement with TYR Sport Inc.

An Olympian in the sport of triathlon in 2004, Potts made a name for himself early on in the pool.  A 6-time NCAA All-American in swimming at the University of Michigan and a former USA Swimming National Team Member helped establish Potts as one of the top multi-sport swimmers in the world.

Potts turned professional in the sport of triathlon in 2003 and was named the USAT Rookie of the Year.  Since that time he has become a 2-Time ITU World Cup Champion, a 2-Time Ironman 70.3 California Champion, a 2-Time Escape from Alcatraz Champion, a 2007 U.S. National Champion and the 2007 Ironman 70.3 World Champion.
